Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to ensure accurate and efficient patient experiences under pharmacist supervision. You will process prescriptions, enter data, and prepare medications within regulatory guidelines, while assisting patients and directing clinical questions to the pharmacist.

You will also maintain organization in the pharmacy, manage records, restock supplies, and keep the workspace compliant with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Customer interaction when assisting patients and handling inquiries.
• Experience with data entry, medication preparation, and order processing within regulatory limits.
• Accuracy in prescription input, labeling, calculations, and record management.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining workflow and compliance.
• Familiarity with prescription terminology, dosage forms, and product recognition.
• Effective verbal and written communication, including phone interactions with patients and providers.
• Following HIPAA requirements and federal and state pharmacy laws.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with standing for extended periods and completing repetitive tasks.
