Job summary

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician for our La Crosse Clinic Pharmacy. You will work alongside pharmacists to enter prescriptions, prepare labels, and fill prescriptions, delivering love and medicine to our patients.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited technician program or one year of experience, Wisconsin registration, and national certification (CPhT or ExCPT) or willingness to certify within 6 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program or at least one year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Registration as a Pharmacy Technician in Wisconsin.
• Nationally recognized pharmacy technician certification (CPhT or ExCPT), or willingness to become certified within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescription data, calculate dispensing quantities, prepare medication labels, and fill prescriptions.
• Compound non-sterile products and manage inventory needs.
• Prepare prescriptions for delivery or shipment.
• Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries.
• Assist staffing at other Gundersen pharmacy locations as needed.
