Job summary

Capsule is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to ensure accurate and timely delivery of prescription orders in Chicago, IL. You will interpret prescriptions, process orders using pharmacy systems, and package medications for delivery.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, 1+ year counting/packing meds, and state certification. Must be proficient with computer systems and able to work Chicago hours, with 30-40 hours/week and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience counting/packing medications and prior authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and enter prescription information following state regulations.
• Use computer systems to process prescriptions, compare orders, and generate labels.
• Package and deliver medications following standard procedures for safe delivery.
• Perform quality assurance checks and resolve third-party rejections with prescribers/patients as needed.
• Prepare manual prescription orders by verifying information and scanning/packing medications.
