Job summary

Apotheco Pharmacy Group LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for evenings and weekends off in Chicago, IL. This full-time role offers a salary range of $18.00 to $22.00 per hour with PTO, holidays, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include customer service, labeling and preparing medications, processing prescriptions, inventory management, and coordinating patient deliveries. An Illinois Pharmacy Technician license is required upon application; pharmacy experience is welcome but not

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician license upon application required.
• Excellent phone presence and strong communication skills.
• Previous pharmacy experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and patient communication.
• Label and prepare products for patients.
• Process prescriptions using computer software.
• Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies.
• Coordinate patient deliveries.
• Keep the pharmacy clean and organized.
• Complete insurance verification.
• Apply manufacturers coupons when applicable.
• Bill and charge credit cards.
• Keep patient information up to date.
