Job summary

A Safe Haven Pharmacy in Chicago, IL is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a full-time, in-person role at our facility on 2750 West Roosevelt Rd. You will support patient care in retail and home delivery, handling telephone inquiries and assisting patients with insurance, formularies, copayments, and benefit explanations.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of retail pharmacy experience, is legally eligible to work in the United States, and can pass background and drug

• At least two years of experience working in a busy retail pharmacy.
• Legal to live and work in the United States
• Able to pass background and drug tests
• Written and spoken fluency in English (additional languages also desired)
• Ability to work as a team and communicate with coworkers
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range: $21.00 - $26.00 Hourly

General Tasks and Responsibilities

General tasks and responsibilities are similar to Pharmacy Technicians in a retail store. We have a high level of patient telephone contact so you must enjoy working with patients on the telephone. You should have a solid understanding of insurance and the ability to explain coverage, benefits, formularies and copayments to our patients.
