Job summary

Endeavor Health in Highland Park, IL, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician I for rotating days/evenings. The role supports pharmacists in dispensing and filling prescriptions, handling unit doses, and inventory tasks. Requires IL Tech license; CPhT preferred and licensure within two years.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred; certification required within two years of initial licensure.
• Prior technician or hospital experience preferred; retail experience may apply for retail positions.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, fills and labels medications for final dispensing authorization by the Pharmacists.
• Prepares unit doses accurately according to the refill list and assists in filling the automated medication station.
• Conducts rounds to nursing units and prepares medications for transportation rounds.
• Performs pharmacy-related tasks to maintain efficiency and organization and assists in inventory management.
