Job summary

Ogden Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for Evening shifts to join the hospital pharmacy team. You will help ensure accurate medication storage, security, and timely dispensing in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will interact with hospital personnel, prepare medications, transport supplies, and perform ADC routines while supporting cost-effective drug management and mentoring new technicians under the supervision of the Pharmacy Director.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician license required (PharmTech).
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain medication storage and security.
• Interact with hospital personnel in person and by phone.
• Accurately package and prepare medications for dispensing.
• Transport medications and supplies within the hospital.
• Perform daily Automated Dispensing Cabinet routines.
• Help manage drug supplies cost-effectively and mentor new technicians.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Pharmacy Technician you will use your skills and compassion in caring for our patients as an integral part of the hospital pharmacy team. Members of that team consider themselves a family where each member works hard to support each other. We are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role:

• You will be responsible for maintaining medication storage and security.

• You will interact with hospital personnel both in person and by phone.

• You will accurately package and prepare medications for dispensing.

• You will transport medications and supplies to various areas of the hospital.

• You will perform daily Automated Dispensing Cabinet routines as assigned.

• You will help manage drug supplies in a cost effective manner and identify opportunities to minimize waste. You will help mentor new technicians and assist the Pharmacy Director with special projects as needed

What qualifications you will need:

• (PharmTech) Pharmacy Technician License

• High School Graduate / GED
