Job summary

ChenMed is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations, enter patient and drug information, and process prescriptions under Pharmacist supervision. The role focuses on accuracy, compliance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements, and patient-facing service.

Essential duties include inventory management, assistance with medication preparation, and collaboration with providers to ensure safe, efficient care. Evening or weekend shifts may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• Board of Pharmacy technician registration; maintain current licensure and certification.
• Minimum one year of experience in a pharmacy setting including data entry duties.

Responsibilities

• Review and comply with the Pharmacy Technician Code of Conduct.
• Greet patients and answer questions, referring complex inquiries to the Pharmacist.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and stock levels; place and verify orders.
• Assist in processing prescriptions using pharmacy systems and verify accuracy.
