Job summary

ChenMed LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations under the Pharmacist’s supervision. You will assist in processing prescriptions, maintain inventory, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering quality care to patients and families.

This role requires attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and good communication with patients and healthcare providers. Evening/weekend availability may be required, with opportunities for training and growth within ChenMed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ChenMed products, services, standards, policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and be flexible.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and healthcare providers in person or by phone, answer questions, and refer to Pharmacist when needed.
• Maintain inventory by checking stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and ensure accuracy.
• Process prescriptions, check for interactions, and ensure correct dosing and labeling.
• Assist and coach pharmacy technicians under the Pharmacist’s supervision; support quality improvement.
• Adhere to HIPAA, Medicare, and co-pay requirements and assist with cash handling as needed.
