Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support dispensing and clerical tasks in our Athol, MA location. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm EST, with a lunch break 12:30pm–1:00pm.

Work under a Registered Pharmacist to ensure accurate prescription processing, inventory control, and adherence to state and federal regulations. Benefits and opportunities accompany a collaborative care team environment.

Qualifications

Active MA Pharmacy Technician license required.
Access to reliable transportation.
National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred; data entry experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

Provide dispensing support under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification.
Orders, receives and stores pharmacy supplies.
Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
Verifies medication stock and updates inventory records.
Assist in pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with federal/state requirements.
Carry out clerical duties related to the department.
Communicate effectively with professional verbal and written skills.
Other duties as assigned.
