Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe and efficient service in our West Virginia stores. You will help ensure accurate prescription fulfillment, provide empathetic customer care, and comply with state licensure and CVS policies.

You may assist with immunizations and other patient services as permitted by law, while maintaining safety and privacy standards. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including licensure/certification.
• If no minimum age requirement is set by the state board, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist pharmacists in patient health management.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic, attentive service to patients to create positive experiences.
• Perform basic inventory activities and assist with cycle counts and returns-to-stock.
• Collaborate with the team and grow clinical and technical knowledge as needed.
• Be flexible with scheduling and travel to stores in the market as required.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and CVS policies to protect patient privacy and safety.
• Assist with immunizations and point-of-care testing where permitted by law.
