Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering accurate prescription fulfillment and caring patient service. Technicians follow SOPs, assist pharmacists, and help maintain a safe, efficient pharmacy routine.

Full-time role with required state licensure and certification, and opportunities to provide immunizations and other services where allowed. Travel to stores in the market may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, incl. licensure/certification
• High school diploma or equivalent or actively enrolled in high school or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Deliver empathetic patient service and assist at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone
• Assist with inventory activities and returns-to-stocks as directed
• Contribute to a high-performing team and be receptive to feedback
• Be flexible for scheduling and travel to stores in the market as needed
• Comply with all laws, regulations, and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy
• Deliver additional health care services where allowable by law and training

Education
