Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support our in-store pharmacy teams in Wheeling, WV. You will help with prescription fulfillment, patient interactions, and performing tasks under pharmacy SOPs, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role includes potential immunization support, compliance with state board requirements, and a focus on accurate, compassionate service for customers and patients in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education and licensure/certification.
• If the state board does not mandate a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• If the state board does not mandate a minimum education, candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled in HS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Assist pharmacists to manage patient health and ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic, patient-focused service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Contribute to inventory activities and adherence to SOPs and policies.
• Support immunizations and other services as allowed by law, under supervision.
