Job summary

Centurion is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Tipton Correctional Center in Tipton, Missouri. The Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist, assisting with prescription data entry, inventory maintenance, and coordination with the contracted pharmacy for processing.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, current Pharmacy Technician certification/licensure (L1MA), and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Pharmacy Technician certification/licensure (L1MA) required.
• Minimum one year experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Type prescription data into the pharmacy computerized filing system.
• Maintain a well-stocked pharmacy and proper records.
• Ensure prescription orders are faxed to the contracted pharmacy for processing.
