Job summary

Regions Hospital in Saint Paul, MN, seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join the Outpatient team on a per diem basis. You will work under supervision to fill and label medication orders, assist with inventory, and maintain records in compliance with policies.

This per diem role is union-affiliated, non-exempt, with hourly pay in the $24.85–$32.23 range and no benefits. Day and Evening shifts are available, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Registered as a pharmacy technician with the Minnesota State Board of Pharmacy.
• Current national certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or National Healthcareer Association.
• Preferred: completion of an accredited program or Minnesota Board of Pharmacy technician training if registered after Jan 1, 2013.
• Six months of related experience in a hospital, community, or institutional pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service to internal and external customers.
• Accurately fills and labels medication orders in the assigned area.
• Assists with inventory management to ensure correct on-hand counts and proper shelfstock.
• Maintains records in compliance with legal requirements and department policies.
• Ensures equipment is kept clean and orderly at all times.
