Why You’ll Love Working Here

We’re a close-knit pharmacy team that values doing good work, helping each other, and treating people with respect. Instead, you’ll work alongside a dedicated team behind the scenes, helping make sure our patients receive the medications they need, when they need them. This is a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy environment, so it’s a great fit for an experienced technician who enjoys staying busy, knows how to prioritize, and takes pride in keeping work moving while maintaining accuracy.

Start times vary between 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM. End times range between 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM. Typically work one weekend day per week. One full weekend off per month. Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

  • Triage incoming fax prescriptions to help ensure timely processing and dispensing.
  • Enter appropriate notes and cycle-fill coding into the pharmacy system.
  • Calculate and/or verify the correct dosage based on the prescription.
  • Receive, evaluate, process, and follow up with doctors’ offices on assigned refills.
  • Maintain accurate data entry records for cycle medications, fill requests, renewals, and new cycle orders.
  • Use pharmacy systems effectively, including document imaging and legacy pharmacy computer systems.
  • Understand and manage Cycle processes to help meet delivery deadlines.
  • Consistently meet the pharmacy’s established accuracy and productivity standards.
  • Troubleshoot, research, and resolve customer service issues using your pharmacy knowledge and experience.
  • Communicate with customers by telephone in a caring, understanding, and courteous manner, routing calls as appropriate.
  • Complete assigned prescriptions within your regular shift.
  • Work closely with teammates to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow, especially during periods of high volume.
  • When needed, assist with filing completed orders, packaging medications, inventory, profiling orders for medical records, and filling processed prescriptions.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the pharmacy team.
What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an experienced pharmacy technician who is comfortable working in a high-volume environment, can maintain accuracy while working at a steady pace, and enjoys being part of a team.
