Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Tennessee seeks a Pharmacy Technician Coordinator to lead a 12-15 person inbound team, supporting pharmacy operations and quality initiatives. This working coordinator role spends about half time on workflow and follows a Monday–Friday day shift with hybrid scheduling after training.

You will assist pharmacists, manage inventory, use pharmacy computer systems, participate in interviews and training, and help implement new programs.

Qualifications

• 4 years of pharmacy experience required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician through PTCB or NHA required.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist in the preparation, dispensing and distribution of medications.
• Applies departmental processes regarding inventory control.
• Operates computer systems and utilizes technology.
• Works with pharmacy management to implement positive changes.
• Develops, implements and maintains new programs and protocols.
• Oversees and reviews quality assurance data and takes corrective action.
