Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Coordinator to lead a 12-15 person inbound technician team, coordinating daily workloads and supporting a high-volume specialty pharmacy operation.

This working coordinator role spends roughly 50% of the time in workflow, with a Monday–Friday day schedule and a hybrid option after training. Candidates must have 4 years of pharmacy experience and be a certified pharmacy technician (PTCB or NHA).

Qualifications

• 4 years of pharmacy experience required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician through PTCB or NHA.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Hybrid schedule available after training.

Responsibilities

• Lead 12-15 direct reports on the inbound team.
• Assist the pharmacist in preparation, dispensing and distribution of medications.
• Monitor compliance with department policies and procedures.
• Coordinate orientation and ongoing training of new technicians.
• Analyze quality and service data and take corrective action as needed.
