Job summary

Singlepoint Healthcare is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) to join our compounding pharmacy team. You will prepare and dispense compounded medications, including antibiotics and inotrope therapies, while ensuring accuracy, sterility, safety, and timely patient prescriptions.

Your work supports quality assurance, documentation, and coordination with nursing agencies, laboratories, and physicians to deliver safe, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required in state of practice.
• PTCB certification preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in home infusion, compounding, or specialty pharmacy preferred.
• Experience with CareTend or equivalent pharmacy information systems.
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, stage and compound IV and sterile medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Maintain clean, sterile work environment and equipment.
• Verify calculations, prepare labels, and maintain records for compounded products.
• Monitor inventory and restock materials; perform monthly expiration checks.
• Assist with quality assurance, laboratory testing and aseptic verification.
• Support patient information entry and coordination with nursing agencies, laboratories, physicians.

We're looking for a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) to join our compounding pharmacy team. In this role, you'll help prepare and dispense compounded medications, including antibiotics and inotrope therapies, while supporting the accuracy, sterility, safety, and timeliness of patient-specific prescriptions.

What You'll Do

• Prepare & Compound Medications
  Accurately prepare, stage, and compound IV and other sterile medications under pharmacist supervision and in accordance with USP <797> and <800> standards.
• Maintain a Safe & Sterile Environment
  Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and compounding tools, and assist with routine surface, environmental, and end-product testing.
• Keep Documentation Accurate
  Complete required paperwork, verify calculations, prepare prescription and batch labels, and maintain accurate records for compounded products, formulations, and controlled substances.
• Manage Inventory & Supplies
  Monitor medication and supply inventory, restock materials, complete monthly expiration checks, and report expired items.
• Support Quality Assurance
  Assist with laboratory testing, validation runs, and aseptic-technique verification to help ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.
• Keep Care Connected
  Support patient information entry, records management, phone communication, and coordination with nursing agencies, laboratories, physicians, and other departments.

What You'll Bring

• Experience with pharmacy information systems such as CareTend or equivalent preferred
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) - required in the state of practice; PTCB certification preferred.
