Job Summary

Under pharmacist supervision, supports pharmacy operations including reviewing prescriptions, locating medications, preparation, labeling, packing, delivery, and claims reconciliation, complying with regulations.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Primary Responsibilities

• Filling prescriptions, assisting in dispensing, packaging, and labeling medications
• Entering prescription info, submitting insurance claims, resolving rejections
• Maintaining electronic records, billing, and inventory control
• Providing customer service, handling controlled substances securely
• Maintaining pharmacy records, assisting in inventory management
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining confidentiality

Education

• High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience

Experience

• No experience required

Physical Requirements

• Lifting up to 25 lbs, standing, walking, reaching, visual and auditory requirements, keyboard use, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs

Licenses & Certifications

• Pharmacy Technician, Registered - Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, Oklahoma as applicable
• Additional certifications as per state requirements
