Job summary

UW Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our community pharmacies in the Madison area. This 100% FTE, day/evening shift role involves filling and dispensing prescriptions, delivering excellent customer service, and applying math and critical thinking in a fast-paced setting.

Previous pharmacy experience is welcome but not required. UW Health offers comprehensive benefits and flexible scheduling to support work-life balance across multiple Madison locations.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No minimum education required for the role.

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to:

• Help our patients fill and pick up prescriptions in our retail pharmacies
• Use exceptional customer service skills, strong mathematical skills, and critical thinking skills
• Identify and prioritize work while managing time within a busy work environment

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician or completion of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program Preferred
