Job summary

Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking Pharmacy Technicians to assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining drug inventory, and keeping records. Work under supervision in a busy hospital pharmacy.

Qualifications include High School diploma or equivalent, Nevada Pharmacy Technician license, and 1 year of experience preferred. Automation experience and knowledge of reporting features are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year experience preferred.
• Automation experience with knowledge of reporting features (e.g., optimization, load/unload, nursing narcotic access).
• Current license as Pharmacy Technician in State of Nevada; CPhT certification by PTCB or NHA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pharmacy Technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications.
• Maintain drug inventory and records.
• Work under supervision of a licensed pharmacist and follow procedures and state/federal regulations.
