Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Atlanta in Marietta, GA, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join a fast-paced, patient‑focused team. You will enter prescriptions, process refills, and coordinate with doctors and customers to ensure accurate dispensing and timely service.

The role requires strong attention to detail, a state‑required technician license, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends. Benefits are provided as part of the Guardian Total Rewards package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required per state requirements.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration per state requirements; National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• Strong computer skills and experience with pharmacy operations systems.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately and timely.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Ensure proper notes in computer and cycle fill coding; verify dosages.
• Respond to customer calls with care and route to appropriate personnel for top level service.
• Complete prescriptions assigned for processing within regular shift.
• Coordinate with doctors' offices on refills and follow-up as needed.
• Develop proficiency in all pharmacy systems (document imaging, legacy system).
• May assist with filing, packaging, inventory and medication cycling orders as needed.
• Meet delivery deadlines and maintain data-entry records for cycle medications.
