Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy teams in CVS Retail locations. You will help ensure accurate prescription fulfillment, deliver compassionate customer service, and assist with inventory while following SOPs and regulatory requirements.
The role requires state licensure and certification as applicable, with flexibility to travel within the market as needed. This is a full-time in-store position with a focus on patient safety and efficient service delivery.
Qualifications
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
- State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
Responsibilities
- Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
- Contribute to safe and accurate prescription fulfillment following SOPs.
- Demonstrate empathy and genuine care to patients and customers.
- Assist pharmacists to ensure patient safety and quality service.
- Assist with basic inventory activities and distribution of medications.
- Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores as needed.
- Comply with all applicable laws, policies, and ethical standards.
