Job summary

Corewell Health Southfield Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Specialty Pharmacy Patient Management Program on a full-time rotating day shift. The role emphasizes safe, cost-conscious pharmacotherapeutic recommendations and adherence to department standards.

You will work under moderate supervision within the Pharmacy Consolidated Services Center, interfacing with other departments as needed to ensure optimal patient care and program success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of relevant experience in pharmacy is preferred.
• LIC-Pharmacy Technician - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care according to professional and departmental standards.
• Offer safe, rational pharmacotherapeutic recommendations through medication management programs.
• Interact with other departments and/or businesses outside the pharmacy when needed.

About The Unit

Provides Pharmaceutical Care according to professional and departmental standards and statutory requirements. Provides safe, effective, rational, and cost-conscious pharmacotherapeutic recommendations through the department's medication management programs.

Scope of Work

Under moderate direction and supervision, operate in designated areas or job functions within the site location. Functions relatively independently and has some decision-making responsibility. May interact with other departments and/or businesses outside of the pharmacy department.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of relevant experience in pharmacy. Preferred
• LIC-Pharmacy Technician - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
