Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support Genoa Mental Health Pharmacy in Coal Grove, OH. You will dispense prescriptions under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and handle clerical duties as part of a coordinated care team.

The role requires an active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license with reliable transportation; certification is preferred. Hourly pay ranges from $16 to $29 and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Ohio Pharmacy Technician license (including registered, certified or trainee).
• Access to reliable transportation.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred).
• Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receive and process wholesaler medication orders.
• Verify medication stock and enter data to maintain inventory records.
• Assist the Pharmacist in pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with federal/state requirements.
• Perform clerical duties for the department.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
