Job summary

Altruix is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for Behavioral Health to join our Specialty Pharmacy team in Trevose, PA. This full-time, onsite role supports medication access and patient outcomes with high-touch service.

The position emphasizes detail, clear communication with providers, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Compensation ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy registration as a Pharmacy Technician or Trainee.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, or healthcare setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn pharmacy systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned facilities, providers and patients.
• Coordinate with internal teams, providers, and payers to support timely medication access.
• Maintain open communication with providers to clarify prescriptions and resolve issues.
• Track and follow up on pending prescriptions, authorizations, and documentation.
• Assist with medication fulfillment, packaging, and labeling as needed in accordance with state regulations.
• Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in inventory activities and assist with returns processing when applicable.
• Provide high-touch customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
• Assist in training new employees and support team members as needed.
• Escalate issues or concerns to the Pharmacy Manager promptly.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Altruixis seeking a Pharmacy Technician,Behavioral Health to join our Specialty Pharmacy team in Trevose, PA. This is a full-time, onsite position primarily working Monday through Friday,8:30AM – 5:00 PM.

• Basic Microsoft Office skills (WORD, Excel)

• National certification (CPhT) preferred
