Trinity Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists by preparing medications, operating the robotic system, and maintaining stock in automated dispensing cabinets. The role requires aseptic technique in an IV clean room and QA inspections across nursing units.

You will handle paper, electronic, and phone medication requests and perform additional tasks as assigned. Education includes a High School diploma; pharmacy-related background preferred and certification encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Some pharmacy-related or hospital clinical background preferred.
• Preference for nationally certified pharmacy technicians.
• Participation in orientation and continuing education to maintain knowledge and skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist the pharmacist in preparing medications for dispensing.
• Run the pharmacy robot and maintain stock in automated cabinets.
• Draw up doses in the IV clean room using aseptic technique.
• Perform pharmacy stock QA inspections on nursing units.
• Provide customer service by processing paper, electronic and phone medication requests.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisors/pharmacists.
