Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking Pharmacy Technicians and Technician Apprentices to join our patient-focused team. You will work under supervision to assist pharmacists, learn through our earn-while-you-learn training program recognized by ASHP and the Department of Labor, and prepare for PTCB certification.

New and experienced technicians will receive comprehensive training, with emphasis on accurate prescriptions, customer care, and professional growth within Walgreens stores nationwide.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for filling prescriptions.
• Good computer skills for pharmacy operations.
• Knowledge of store inventory control is a plus.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Interact with customers and provide friendly, accurate service.
• Process prescriptions and manage cashiers and sales transactions.
• Support inventory management and pharmacy workflow.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience and comply with policies.
