Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a patient-centered team. You will work under the pharmacist, assist with prescriptions, and develop strong relationships with customers while delivering a high-quality pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Strong math and computer skills for accurate prescription filling and patient data handling.
• Knowledge of store inventory control is a plus.
• PTCB certification or pursuing certification is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and processing prescriptions.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems accurately.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate stock of pharmaceuticals.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve questions or issues.
• Support clerical duties and cash handling as needed.
