Job summary

Walgreens is seeking Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Technician Apprentices to play a central role in delivering patient-centered care. You’ll work closely with customers, gain hands-on experience, and access Walgreens’ modern tools and support to grow your career.

The program includes an ASHP/Department of Labor–recognized earn-while-you-learn Apprenticeship that guides you toward PTCB certification and expanding clinical skills within a retail pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Pharmacy experience or willingness to learn preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and related pharmacy duties.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Support inventory management and housekeeping in the Pharmacy Department.
• Participate in training and certification programs (PTCB) as required.
