Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills for accurate dispensing.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing and related duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Interact with customers to deliver a positive customer experience.
• Support inventory management, ordering, receiving, and storage of pharmaceuticals.
• Enter patient and drug information accurately and help prevent medication interactions.
• Assist with clerical tasks and support the Pharmacy Manager and staff pharmacist.
