Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to be frontline with customers, building strong patient relationships and delivering a patient-centered experience.

The role emphasizes learning and growth through Walgreens’ training program and hands-on experiences in a dynamic pharmacy setting. The program is designed to guide you toward PTCB certification while you gain practical skills, work under supervision, and participate in clinical and pharmacy operations

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior Walgreens experience is a plus.
• Good math skills for counting, measuring and weighing medications.
• Good computer skills and basic store inventory familiarity.
• PTCB certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and assist cashiers in operations.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Support inventory management and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and pharmacy codes.
