Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice in Mentor, OH to be at the heart of patient care. You will assist the pharmacist, process prescriptions, and engage customers to build strong relationships while gaining hands-on experience with the latest pharmacy technology.

We offer an earn-while-you-learn pathway, with training to become a PT CB-certified technician. Prior retail exposure is nice, as is a positive attitude, math aptitude, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing prescriptions.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Provide excellent customer service and help customers find products.
• Support inventory management and cash handling as needed.
