Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision by the pharmacist, assist in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state, federal, and company policy.
• Fills prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medicine is correct, and checking for possible interactions.
• Reports prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adheres to company policies in relation to pharmacy errors.
• Assists pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining workflow.
• Processes (corrects and resubmits) manual claims for third party prescription services; performs other clerical duties.
• Assists with inventory management activities, ordering, unpacking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals.
• May assist in administering clinical services and coordinating with healthcare providers.
• Maintains relationships with local medical community to enhance growth opportunities.
