Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to be at the center of patient care, helping customers and building strong patient relationships. The program includes an earn-while-you-learn pathway and ASHP/DOL recognition, guiding you toward PT CB certification and ongoing skill growth.

You will gain hands-on experience with pharmacy systems, assist pharmacists, and support inventory and administrative tasks while delivering high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer good math and computer skills; familiarity with pharmacy systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and related duties.
• Enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions in pharmacy systems.
• Assist with inventory management and clerical duties as assigned.
• Provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Support clinical services and coordination with healthcare providers when needed.
