Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to be at the forefront of our patient-centered care model. You will interact with customers, build strong patient relationships, and leverage state-of-the-art tools to support pharmacy operations and care delivery.

This role offers hands-on training through an ASHP & Department of Labor recognized apprenticeship, guiding you toward PTCB certification while you grow within Walgreens’ pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing and verifying prescriptions.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Provide excellent customer service and engage with patients to improve experience.
• Maintain accurate inventory and handle cash/register duties.
• Support pharmacy operations and contribute to a compliant work environment.
