The role includes training through an ASHP-recognized apprenticeship, advancing toward PTCB certification, and growing through hands-on clinical and operational duties while providing a high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for counting, measuring and weighing medications.
• Good computer skills preferred.
• Knowledge of store inventory control beneficial.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and enter patient data.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register as required.
• Support pharmacy inventory management and stocking activities.
• Contribute to a friendly, accurate, and efficient customer experience.
