Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join our customer-facing team. You will interact with patients, support dispensing under supervision, and participate in an ASHP and DOL-recognized apprenticeship program to become PTCB certified.

Training focuses on building foundational and advanced pharmacy skills, patient care, and career growth within Walgreens. The role blends tech tasks with strong customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing according to state, federal, and company policies.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Support inventory management, stock, and claims processing as needed.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and assist customers at the OTC area.
• Contribute to delivering a distinctive customer experience and professional service.
