Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to interact with customers and build strong patient relationships.

Qualifications

Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except Puerto Rico).
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Prefer six months of retail experience and prior Walgreens experience; PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the pharmacist, assist in pharmacy duties per state and company policy.
Process prescriptions and enter patient and drug information using pharmacy systems.
Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining workflow; ensure accurate dispensing and checks for interactions.
Maintain inventory: order, unpack, check, and stock pharmaceuticals; support warehouse overages and shortages handling.
Provide a courtesy, helpful customer experience and assist customers with pharmacy-related services.
