Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice who will engage with customers, support the pharmacist, and help maintain a patient-centric pharmacy experience. You’ll learn through an ASHP and DOL-recognized apprenticeship, work toward PTCB certification, and advance within Walgreens' pharmacy care team.

You will assist with prescriptions, use pharmacy systems, and participate in inventory and customer service activities to ensure accurate dispensing and outstanding

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists under supervision in dispensing and processing prescriptions.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and handle cash when needed.
• Provide a strong customer experience by greeting customers and offering help proactively.
• Support inventory management and stock levels of Pharmaceuticals and OTC products.
• Assist with clerical duties and maintain compliance with policies and procedures.
