Job summary

MultiCare in Washington seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations, applying strong organizational skills and attention to detail. This staff-level role works under pharmacist supervision to perform non-discretionary tasks that keep the practice running smoothly.

Key duties include ordering supplies, stocking items, entering patient medication and billing information, answering calls, and performing extemporaneous compounding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by the Washington State Department of Health.
• Successful completion of National Pharmacy Technician Certification Program (preferred).
• If required to drive a MHS vehicle, a driver's license is required.
• Retail pharmacy experience (retail health only).

Responsibilities

• You will store items received and assist in maintaining stock levels, to include dating and initialing invoices and/or packing slips upon receipt
• You will enter customer's medication and billing information into computer system

• You will perform extemporaneous compounding under pharmacist supervision

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $27.36 - $39.38 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant\'s years of experience align.
