Job description

Position Summary

The Pharmacy Technician is an exciting staff-level opportunity at MultiCare, assisting in manipulative and non-discretionary functions of the practice of pharmacy. In this role, you will apply your organizational skills and attention to detail for successful daily work operations. FTE: 1.0, Shift: Evening, Schedule: Evening shift with night rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ordering supplies from wholesalers and direct accounts, and verify items received against invoices.
• Store items received and maintain stock levels, including dating and initialing invoices and packing slips upon receipt.
• Enter customers’ medication and billing information into the computer system.
• Answer and screen telephone calls and forward as needed.
• Perform extemporaneous compounding under pharmacist supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by the Washington State Department of Health.
• Successful completion of National Pharmacy Technician Certification Program (preferred).
• Driver’s license required if driving an MHS vehicle.

Pay and Benefits

Pay range: $27.64 - $45.69 USD. Benefits include medical, dental, retirement, and paid time off.
