Job summary

Main Line Health seeks a Pharmacy Tech Ambulatory at Lankenau Medical Center to support pharmacists, process prescriptions, and manage inventory in a hospital setting. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and assist with dispensing and labeling. Education required: High School diploma or GED.

PA Pharmacy Technician Registration or Intern Registration is required (effective 6/28/26). Previous hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred; CPhT is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous hospital or retail pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• PA Pharmacy Technician Registration or Pharmacy Intern Registration required (effective 6/28/26).
• CPhT - Certified Pharmacy Technician - PA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information to process prescriptions.
• Assist pharmacists in technical duties related to drug distribution.
• Monitor medication inventory levels and place restock orders.
• Read medication orders and prescriptions, prepare labels, calculate quantities, and compound sterile and non-sterile products.
• Support pharmacological services by checking stock and other therapies.
