Job summary

Main Line Health, Inc. is seeking a Staff Pharmacist, Ambulatory to provide quality pharmaceutical care at Lankenau Medical Center. The role focuses on reviewing prescriptions for safety, dispensing accurately, and collaborating with clinicians to optimize patient therapy.

Position offers tuition reimbursement up to $6,000 per year and a day shift. Prior outpatient or hospital pharmacy experience with IV admixtures and counseling is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Pharmacy required.
• Doctorate in Pharmacy as stated in education.
• Immunization certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality pharmaceutical care and review prescriptions for safety and effectiveness.
• Dispense medications in accordance with current standards and practices.
• Communicate with healthcare professionals and patients regarding therapy and safety.
• Support clinical counseling and ensure therapy safety and compliance.

The Staff Pharmacist, Ambulatory, provides quality pharmaceutical care, and fills/dispenses medications in accordance with the latest pharmacy standard practices. Reviews prescriptions and medication orders for appropriateness and compatibility with current therapy, disease states, drug allergies, adverse drug effects, duplication of therapy and compliance to ensure patients’ medication therapy is safe, effective, timely, and free from drug-related problems.
