The primary purpose of this role is to fill prescriptions, assist customers, unpack totes, answer phones, and respond to inquiries within specified limits.

Responsibilities

1. Review the work schedule, check equipment, and prepare supplies at the start of each shift, ensuring compliance with PPE requirements.
2. Move, open, and unpack incoming totes; organize items on shelves.
3. Clean shelves, check inventory levels, and inspect products for expiration dates.
4. Assist customers and answer telephone calls.
5. Verify customer identification for products when required.
6. Complete the prescription filling process, including data entry and dispensing.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Meet state minimum age requirements.
• Successfully pass background checks and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and understand to perform job duties and follow policies.
• Complete a 60-day introductory (probationary) period.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, including physical base scores.
• Ability to learn and use necessary equipment and tools.
• Perform all job functions safely.
• Meet company performance standards.
• Wear proper clothing and shoes approved for the role.
• Hold and maintain any required licenses, certificates, or permits.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more as needed.
• Job cycles: continual maximum.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%.
• Category IV: lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.

• Understand company policies and procedures.
• Follow all applicable laws and pharmacy standards.
• Know MSDS information for all materials used.
• Complete Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Right-to-Know, HIPAA, and other pharmacy training requirements.
