We now offer a Night Program – qualified candidates could receive an additional $2 per hour on top of the current off-shift differential ($1.10). To qualify, candidates must have at least 6 months of experience and commit to working all full-time night shifts.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain awareness of behaviors affecting departmental efficiency
- Follow safety policies, procedures, and standard precautions, including policies for bloodborne pathogen exposure
- Report equipment malfunctions to the appropriate department
- Establish effective communication strategies
- Respond to emergent situations within the nursing assistant scope
- Seek opportunities to enhance knowledge, skills, and performance
- Provide feedback to RNs regarding patient care and report changes in patient status
- Adhere strictly to policies related to patient care and hospital information
- View assignments proactively and address challenges positively
- Identify learning needs and communicate them to the unit director
- Maintain professional and respectful relationships
- Ensure a safe environment conducive to patient recovery, including safety checks, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance
- Assist in planning and prioritizing activities, and participate in self-review processes
- Support departmental changes and initiatives
- Contribute to unit activities like responding to call lights, passing meals, and patient transport
- Provide direct patient care, including activities of daily living such as bathing, feeding, and ambulating
- Manage supplies and equipment to facilitate care, including ordering, charging, and restocking
- Perform routine tests like blood glucose, weights, vital signs, and I&Os
- Receive and incorporate feedback constructively
- Offer companionship and supervision to patients as needed
- Assist with nourishments, water, and mail distribution
- If applicable, apply, monitor, and remove restraints per protocol and provide diversion activities
- Document patient information accurately in medical records
