Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician 2 for an on-site role in Mechanicsville, VA 23116. The position offers hourly pay at $16.50 for trainees and $17.50 for licensed/registered technicians, with a contract assignment that may extend based on attendance and performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and distribution of drug products using fulfillment system.
• Process prescription exceptions, resolve claim rejects and outreach.
• Enter member demographics and prescription data into processing system.
• Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and escalated member issues.
• Escalate prescription questions to Pharmacist for interpretation.
• Assist with inbound/outbound patient or physician calls.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pharmacy Technician 2 Compensation

Pay rate: $16.50/hr (trainee) OR $17.50/hr (licensed/registered)

Pharmacy Technician 2 Highlights

Pharmacy Technician 2 Availability

• Shift A: Sun, Wed, Thurs, Fri 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM (2 openings)
• Shift B: Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM (5 openings)

Pharmacy Technician 2 Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and distribution of drug products using the fulfillment system
• Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and completing member/physician outreach
• Enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system
• Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member issues
• Escalate prescription questions to a Pharmacist for interpretation or direction on processing
• Assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls
• Perform other duties as assigned

Pharmacy Technician 2 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
• 2–4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
• Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by the state of operation
• Basic computer skills

Pharmacy Technician 2 Preferred Qualifications

• Prior fulfillment/production pharmacy experience
• Strong accuracy and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
