Actalent is hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Wood Dale, IL for a contract-to-hire role. The positions require an active IL Pharmacy Technician License and a national certification (PTCB or NHA). Pay ranges from $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, with a hybrid work setup in Wood Dale, IL.

The role involves coordinating medication deliveries, verifying insurance, documenting patient concerns, and collaborating with pharmacists and nurses to ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment.

• 1+ Years of Pharmacy Technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from patients and caregivers to coordinate medication deliveries and confirm supply needs.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with patients, providing exceptional service and support throughout their therapy journey.
• Assist with monitoring medication adherence and identifying potential gaps in treatment.
• Document patient-reported concerns, including adverse reactions, and elevate to the appropriate clinical team when necessary.
• Verify insurance benefits, coverage details, and payment options to support order processing.
• Coordinate with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the support they need.
• Accurately enter and maintain patient information across multiple systems to support the end-to-end order fulfillment process.
• Process medication and supply orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery within established service commitments.
• Update order tracking systems with shipment details, delivery status, and other relevant information.
• Provide outstanding customer service to both internal teams and external customers.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to support shared goals and operational success.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
