Job summary

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a full-time outpatient Pharmacy Technician to join our Winona Campus pharmacy, with occasional floating to La Crosse, Onalaska, Holmen and West Salem locations based on workload.

You’ll enter prescriptions, calculate dispensing quantities, prepare labels, and fill prescriptions; compound non-sterile products and manage inventory; prepare prescriptions for delivery or shipment; answer patient questions; and assist staffing at other Gundersen pharmacies as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Minnesota pharmacy technician registration (MNRPhT) at time of hire; Wisconsin registration (WIRPhT) within 3 months of hire.
• Nationally-recognized certification for pharmacy technician (CPht or ExCPT) or willingness to become certified within 12 months of hire.

Join our growing team! Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) outpatient Pharmacy Technician primarily working at our Winona Campus pharmacy.

This position will require floating to La Crosse/Onalaska/Holmen/West Salem pharmacy locations based on workload and volume within the Winona Campus.

What you’ll do:

• Enjoy flexible scheduling options for day and evening shifts with rotating weekends
• Enter prescription data, calculate dispensing quantities, prepare medication labels and fill prescriptions
• Compound non-sterile products and manage inventory needs
• Prepare prescriptions for delivery or shipment
• Answer the telephone and respond to patient inquiries
• Assist with staffing at other Gundersen pharmacy locations as needed

What you’ll get:

• Hourly wage: $19.05 + more based on experience, plus extra for evening, weekend and holiday shifts!
• Reimbursed for millage for travel to any other pharmacy locations besides Winona Campus Pharmacy; all travel time to other pharmacy locations will be considered travel & will be compensated.

What you’ll need:
